COMMUNITY LEADERS' DIGITAL SUMMIT
NVIDIA held a Technology Update Summit for PC community leaders, with the presence of Seth Schneider (senior product manager for esports and competitive gaming products like G-SYNC Esports displays and NVIDIA Reflex) and Sean Pelletier (Senior Product Manager for GeForce Game Ready Drivers and NVIDIA Studio Drivers), as well as representatives from PC and tech communities. PCMR was one of them.
In a world that is still not quite what it used to be, the event was fully digital. After a technology update presentation by Nvidia, there was room for a Q&A with the experts with a special emphasis on how Reflex can help with latency optimization and gaming user experience & proficiency as well as what goes behind the scenes for a Game Ready Driver launch, and just how it can improve the way specific games perform.
This goes hand in hand with the 5-minute video released earlier this week that goes into detail about how drivers work at a technical level to ensure proper hardware to software communication, something we gamers tend not to think too much about, but which is vital to how pleasant the gaming experience can be.
You can find more info about NVIDIA Reflex, as well as a written short article about how Game Ready Drivers are developed, in the resources below.
