What is a Passkey?

A Passkey is a generated key that uniquely identifies your Folding@Home user. Anyone that runs F@H can use whatever username they want, which makes verifying who you are very difficult. The Passkey is a way to identify which account, regardless of username, you use.

How do I get a Passkey?

See this page by Stanford.

What does it mean "Folding@Home returned 0 users for Folding Team 225605."

This linking, and the entire effort by PCMR, is using the same data that you yourself have access to if you know how to ask for it. F@H takes some time to add you to the database and periodically purges inactive users from their database.

What this means for you is you will need to wait until you get points from submitting a Work Unit while folding for the PCMR Team before you can link your account here. The F@H site won't know about you until this happens.

  • If you have some points contributed to the PCMR Team, you will likely be able to link accounts.
  • Below is an example showing that I have yet to submit points. I likely will not be able to link successfully.
