Using Controllers with PC
Most modern controllers are plug-and-play or offer a USB adapter solution you can buy online for a few bucks. Other controllers, like Sony's PlayStation controller, do not have native support and need DS3tool/DS4tool installed (which tricks your computer into thinking it's an XBox controller). Installing and configuring only takes a few minutes, and the amount of money you save by getting to use your PS controller instead of buying a ~$45 XBox one makes the time worth it.
